Paul Brach Visiting Artist Lecture Series: Nora Khan

Nora N. Khan is a distinguished writer, curator, and professor based at the Rhode Island School of Design. With a focus on digital visual culture and software-driven art, she serves as an editor at Rhizome and is currently editing Prototype, associated with Google's Artist and Machine Intelligence Group. As a professor in Digital + Media, she imparts her expertise to graduate students across disciplines. In 2020, she curated the Shed's exhibition, Manual Override, featuring acclaimed artists. Khan's decade-long contributions to esteemed publications like Art in America and Mousse culminated in her book Seeing, Naming, Knowing, published by The Brooklyn Rail. She collaborates globally, with essays for prestigious institutions such as Serpentine Galleries, MAXXI, and the Venice Biennale. Khan's impactful writing has been recognized with grants and awards, reflecting her influence in the realms of art, technology, and critical discourse.
