Tom Bland is Assistant Dean of the School of Art. He serves as a member of the Graphic Design faculty at CalArts where he teaches motion graphics and web design. His work has been shown at the Getty Information Institute in Los Angeles, The Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco, the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Ohio. Currently he specializes in branding and e-commerce for the fashion and luxury items industry. Select clients include Issey Miyaki, Edie-Parker, Pamella Roland, LILY, Mac Duggal and 1. State. He’s also responsible for those zany yet highly successful local Tito’s Tacos commercials.
